Producing a prospectus for Grimsby's biggest education provider should boost the prospects of a Grimsby-area graphic design company.
Sourcefour, Robert Pritchard's company, began in an attic three years ago and is now looking to expand from its current base on Humberston's Wilton Road Industrial Estate. It won the contract to produce the guide to all that Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education offers undergraduates.
And all involved are thrilled with the 182-page silver production aimed at those looking to enrol for the 2006/2007 academic year.
A total of 15,000 have been printed, with 5,000 going directly to Ucas headquarters, the body responsible for university admissions.
The remainder will be sent to every secondary school and college in the region.
Receiving his copy, Institute principal and chief executive Daniel Khan, who has written the forward, said: "I think it is fantastic. It is so professional, very readable and shows the full range that we offer, demonstrating to potential students the opportunities available at the Institute. It more than matches any university prospectus I have seen."
And by keeping it local it is a further boost to the local economy, above and beyond what The Institute already provides.
Mr Khan said: "I was very, very pleased to use a local company, it forms another local partnership.
"We worked with them through every stage, and I am told it is excellent value for money."
Mr Pritchard said: "We were asked to pitch for this work back in May, after we had won the contract for the Don't Just Talk About It... advertising campaign for the Institute.
"The prospectus has just been printed and it is going down very well. It has been really well received.
"At 182 pages it is quite a substantial document, but in our view it is better than most university prosepctuses in terms of content and quality, and it has been a major contract for us."
